Where are you, Santa Baby… I want to tell you
I’ve been a little naughty… but
I’ve been ever so nice
But I cannot go on living without a Martini and ice.
The party is in full swing
And I know someone is going to sing… still
I can’t go on living without a Martini and Ice
The lights are a-glow
But the butler is oh soooo slow… but
Where is my Martini I ask?
How can an olive be such a task?
As another log goes on the fire
The room fills with a festive fog… and
There, in the smoke, laughing at some drunk’s joke
Is you, Santa Baby, bearing my Martini and a bucket of ice.
No need to tell them if I’ve been naughty or nice.
They won’t have to think twice.
Once they see me with my Martini and ice.

Merry Christmas, Friends. Have a lovely holiday and buckle up for 2026!

December 27, 2025 at 7:35 amGigi, as you know, the SB Spritzer morphs into Champagne on occasion. And there are so many occasions, here in Cuenca.
You’re the best. gracias xo

I think you are the one singing… even without a Martini and Ice…..
You have set the lights a-glow and filled our hearts with enchantment.

December 27, 2025 at 7:28 amSQ, You, who in fact, do sing, are too kind. I wrote this originally in December of 2006. It still holds, with one caveat – I’ve turned in my Martini for a Sauvignon Blanc Spritzer! Blowing kisses your way. xo
