MY THREE FAVORITE TALKES AND PODCASTS OF THE MOMENT
Many years ago, I would fall asleep listening to a favorite story about Angels. It was, of course, very soothing and fascinating, and it was on a cassette. Another tape I was obsessed with was Ram Dass, discussing enlightenment and tranquility. On both tapes, their voices were so melodic that sleep would soon find me and sweep me away for the night. Today, I find that same mesmerizing contentment when I listen to a good podcast. There is so much to know and learn in our world, and listening increases our concentration and expands our horizons…Keep listening, friends – “It’s a wonderful pass-time.”

It took just one talk to hook me in this enlightening arena of politics, culture, performing, and visual arts, with discussions covering all these and more topics with profoundly interesting speakers. Listening to Nicole Wallace with veteran prosecutors Andrew Weissman (with whom I have a crush) and Mary McCord’s in-depth discussion of current events in the United States. As a side note, the MSNBC podcast – Prosecuting Donald Trump is also riveting.

Wiser Than Me is a celebration of “mature” women who have lived their lives to the fullest and are immensely talented.
